Amenities Our newly renovated building offers resident rooms with electric beds. Each room has its own bath. Every room is wired for telephone service, and free basic cable TV service is available. Our building is air-conditioned for your comfort. We have a beauty/barber shop for your convenience and a book-filled library for your enjoyment.
Every unit has one or more small solariums—cozy nooks with comfortable seating where small groups can gather. Each unit also has its own dining room where its residents gather for all meals. A large activities room accommodates all sorts of activities and events. And we have one of the largest therapy gyms on the North Shore.
For resident safety and building security, we use the WatchMate safety system, and our outside doors are secured.
Outside, our lovely, enclosed courtyard offers you a pleasant, private space where you can take a stroll or sit and talk while you enjoy some fresh air and nature.
Activities Staying active and involved is an important part of everyone’s health and well-being. Our seven-day-a-week activities calendar will provide you with a variety of recreational activities to help keep you mentally, physically, and spiritually active—no matter what your level of mobility is.
Our schedule of activities includes gentle exercise classes, games, music, crafts, discussion groups, religious services, pet therapy, and more—all designed to keep you vibrant, energetic, and on the go. We also have a very popular baking group; a monthly ice cream social; and frequent, warm-weather cookouts in our courtyard. And if you have a hobby you love, you can bring that along with you.
We also provide opportunities for you to stay involved in the community. If you’re able and interested, you can join your fellow residents on shopping expeditions, at the movies, for lunch out, or on other local outings.
Certification/Accreditation Pilgrim Rehab is certified by both Medicare and Medicaid. We’re also accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), a nationally recognized, independent organization that sets standards of excellence for nursing homes and other healthcare facilities.
In addition, we are proud to have signed the profession-wide Quality First pledge, which further reflects our commitment to quality, ethical care and resident safety.
